Noted filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s son Nandan recently found himself in a spot of bother when he was robbed by some miscreants in Italy. As expected, this left his parents in a state of shock and his mother/noted actress Suhasani soon took to twitter, requesting people to help him reach the Venice airport safely.

“sos anyone near venice airport ? can u help our son who was robbed in Belunno .he needs to reach airport pls help,” she added.

The ‘Gabbar Singh’ actress went on to state that no one should contact her son unnecessarily   as it would take a toll on his phone’s battery.

“ppl who can’t help in venice pls don’t call the number i posted earlier as your  drain out his battery & he ll lose contact. People from india pls don’t call and harass some one who  already is in distress,” said Suhasini.

Luckily, help soon came Nandan’s way and he managed to reach his hotel room  safely. Confirming this, Suhasini stated that he had checked into his room.

“Our son checked into a hotel.  He is safe tonight,” she added.

Well, we are happy to know that Nandan is safe and wish him the very best.

In case you did not know, Nandan is not keen on entering the film industry. He is currently studying philosophy and has a keen interest in politics. At the age of 15, he had written a booklet on Lenin and proved his mettle. It seems that he has a bright future.
