During a recent chat with a leading website, Manjima Mohan said that her latest release ‘Ippadai Vellum’ is a gripping thriller that does not give the audience much time to reflect upon the onscreen action. She went on to add that she plays a crucial role in the film and her character is an integral part of the plot.

“My role is not a mere frame-adorning role, but I have a very crucial part in the film. Udhay, Soori and I have screen presence throughout the film. It’s a very interesting character. I’m not very much like her in real life except for certain areas. Ippadai Vellum is the kind of thriller that doesn’t give you the time to think and makes you anticipate the further sequences,” she added.

Besides this, she also said that she had a terrific time during the shoot as Udhay and Soori pulled her leg quite frequently.

“It’s very difficult to work with them (Udhay and Soori) because they keep cracking jokes. When I do a serious scene they will stand at the suggestion side and laugh. Even when Udhay and I were shooting for the song, we would make fun of each other,” she added.

Well, we wish her the very best and hope that the ‘Ippadai Vellum’ turns out to be a big success. On a related note, this is a busy time for Manjima. At present, she also has ‘Zam Zam’ in her kitty. The film is a remake of ‘Queen’ and is being shot in France.
