Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has joined the fraternity at the French Riviera for his film Manto. The actor is currently at Cannes 2018 along with the team including co-star Divya Dutta. However, before going to Cannes, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared some interesting details about actor Kamal Haasan that will leave you super excited to see them together on the big screen.

Before heading to Cannes 2018, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui visited Bangalore where he revealed something very interesting about him and actor Kamal Haasan. Nawazuddin, who has worked with Kamal Haasan in Abhay, the Hindi version of Tamil film Aalavandhan, also expressed that Kamal is his favourite actor.

While he was in Bangalore, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared, “He is my favourite actor. I watch all his films. I have worked with him when I did a small role in Hey Ram. In fact, I was a dialogue coach during Abhay.”

Appreciating Kamal’s determination, he further said, “He is a complete perfectionist. He would ensure he got every bit of his dialogues right while shooting. I would stand below the camera on a stool and prompt him, so that he would never miss a single cue.”

Coming back to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Cannes visit, the actor plays the title role of the famous short story writer Saadat Hasan Manto in the film ‘Manto’ which has been written, co-produced and directed by actress-turned-filmmaker Nandita Das.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan has geared up for the much-delayed film Vishwaroopam 2, a spy-thriller and is a sequel to the 2013 release Vishwaroopam. The film also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Shekhar Kapoor, the film has music by Ghibran. The long-delayed Vishwaroopam 2 is expected to release this June or July.
