Actor Sivakarthikeyan is one of the fast rising stars in Tamil cinema after his recent film Velaikkaran turned out to be a hit film. Sivakarthikeyan has a slew of interesting films lined up this year which includes the recently announced yet to be titled film with director Rajesh. The film will be produced by KR Gnanavelraja and was officially launched few days ago. And cast of the film just got bigger! Lady superstar, as she is crowned by her fans, has been brought onboard this film which is said to be a commercial entertainer. Nayanthara has previously worked with Sivakarhikeyan in Velaikkaran too which was directed by Mohan Raja. This yet untitled film by director Rajesh will be the second time pairing up for Siva and Nayanthara.

When I met Nayan, she insisted her character should have proper scope in the screenplay. And the role has come out very well. It will be a fine performance-oriented character for Nayan. She’s a Lady Superstar now and commands a market of her own at the box office with a lot of successful women-centric films. She liked her character arc in the movie and had given her nod to the project. I also thought that someone who knows the language better would be good for this script,” director Rajesh told Firstpost in an interview.

Sivakarthikeyan will also be seen in a sci-fi film which will be directed by Ravi Kumar and will have music by AR Rahman. That film too was announced recently and Rakul Preet will be playing the leading lady in it. The film is yet to be titled and is expected to go on floors in July this year.

Besides these two films, Sivakarthikeyan also has Seema Raja which is being directed by Ponram. Seema Raj will have Samantha Akkineni playing the leading lady and will be the first time alongside Sivakarthikeyan. The shooting of Seema Raja is currently underway with most portions being completed.
