Is Nivin Pauly playing a role in Ajith's next 'Viswasam' directed by Siva?

Actor Ajith had a release in 2017 – Vivegam – which turned out to be one of the biggest releases in the career of the superstar of Tamil cinema. The film went on to collect more than INR 100 crores at the box office and is said to be one of the biggest films in Tamil cinema. Playing an armed forces officer, Ajith sported a salt n pepper look in the film and performed many dare devil stunts all by himself. Directed by Siva, Vivegam was the third time association of Ajith with the director after having previously worked on Vedalam and Veeram. And the duo will join hands again for another film, for the fourth time, which is titled Viswasam. Director Siva had earlier said that there will be a major shift in the genre of Viswasam from the previous films and will be a very different role for Ajith.

Director Siva had also said that they are trying to rope in a top actor from either Tamil or Malayalam film industry for a very important role in the film. And according to latest reports, the makers are contemplating to approach Malayalam top star Nivin Pauly for the role. Reports are doing rounds that Nivin Pauly has been given a brief narration of the role, however the makers are yet to confirm this development. If this turns out to be reality, this will be one of the biggest star cast for a film in the coming season.

Nivin Pauly will be making his debut in Tamil with ‘Richie’. Richie is the remake of 2014 Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandanthe which was directed by debutant Rakshit Shetty. The remake is being directed by Gautham Ramachandran and produced by Anand Kumar and Vinod Shornur.
