Nivin Pauly’s Tamil film Richie trailer crosses a mammoth 7 million views

Nivin Pauly is venturing to Tamil films with Richie and the makers had revealed the trailer of the film. Nivin looks massy in the trailer and Richie promises to be another off-beat entertainer from the actor. The trailer garnered a mammoth seven million views in just four days of being released.

Nivin enjoys a great following in Tamil and Malayalam, and gradually is expanding his empire to complete South India. Nivin Pauly made his debut in 2010 with Malarvaadi Arts Club but it was 2014 release Bangalore Days that shot him to the limelight.  The actor received rave reviews for his acting abilities in Bangalore Days.

Then came Premam which the fans of the actor into a frenzy. Premam changed the direction of his career and made him one of the top actors of Malayalam industry. His following spread to Tamil Nadu as well, with admirers suggesting him to make more films in Tamil.

Nivin has acted in Tamil films in the past too. His first Tamil film was Neram in 2013 which was a bilingual film. He then appeared in Aviyal in 2016 and acted in Eli segment of the film. Nivin’s admirers have only increased by the day and with Richie, it is only going to get bigger and bigger.

Richie is the remake of 2014 Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandanthe which was directed by debutant Rakshit Shetty. The remake is being directed by Gautham Ramachandran and produced by Anand Kumar and Vinod Shornur. The songs in Richie are retained from the original film which was composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.
