Director Bala has geared up with the shoot of his next Varma, with Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram. While the makers have commenced with the shoot, a lot of speculations have been doing rounds regarding the female lead actress of the film. Reports suggested that Shriya Sharma has been cast as the leading lady. But it has now been confirmed that a Bengal based model Megha will be making her debut as heroine opposite Dhruv in the film.

2017 Telugu blockbuster hit Arjun Reddy is being remade in Tamil and will be the launchpad for Dhruv Vikram, son of Tamil top star Chiyaan Vikram. Varma is being produced by E4 Entertainments and will have dialogues by Raja Murugan, a National Award-winning writer. Well, with model Megha making her debut with the Tamil version of the hit film, it remains to see how everything shapes up for the actress.
