Super Star Rajinikanth has completed 40 years in films this year and has had an illustrious career. Having acted in more than 150 films, Rajinikanth still enjoys the same stardom that he had in the initial days of his career. Thalaiva will next be seen in Shankar’s 2.0 which is the second installment from the Robo franchise. 2.0 will be released in January 2018 and the makers are putting in their best efforts to ensure the film gets the right promotions. The audio of 2.0 was launched in Dubai on 27th October, 2017 and the event was something that you see once in a lifetime. The grandeur with which it was set up was magnificent and has set a benchmark in Indian cinema. Speaking at the event, superstar Rajinikanth spoke about quite how it felt like after being in films for more than four decades and what he still dreams of.
“I don’t even remember how these 40 years passed. It still feels like 4-5 years. If not for god’s grace and the love of my fans, I wouldn’t have come this far. These 40 years have taught me that fame and money only bring minimum happiness. When people ask me is it difficult to be Rajinikanth, I tell them it’s only possible because of my faith in the almighty,” said Rajinikanth speaking about completing 40 years in cinema.
Rajinikanth had a message for his fans regarding films. “Support good films and encourage good talent. If you don’t like a film, please avoid spreading negativity through social media,” said the superstar. When asked by host Karan Johar if he has any dream yet to be fulfilled in life, Rajinikanth said, “There is one yet unfulfilled dream. Let’s see what happens to it,” hinting at his political entry.
