GV Prakash will next been in Sarvam Thaala Mayam which is a musical story and is being directed by Rajiv Menon. Sarvam Thaala Mayam will have GV Prakash playing a percussionist and will have music by his uncle A.R.Rahman. The shooting of the film is currently under progress and a picture from the shooting spot of Sarvam Thaala Mayam has gone viral on social media. GV Prakash is seen playing with ducks in a lake and is sporting a musical look in the picture. GV Prakash shared the picture on his Twitter page stating it is from Sarvam Thaala Mayam. The film is slated to be released in the early part of 2019.

Speaking about Sarvam Thaala Mayam, GV Prakash recently heaped praises on Rajiv. “After K Vishwanath, I feel Rajiv Menon does the best musicals. Even though I am not the composer on this project, I have learnt a lot – especially about percussion.” The story will be about the journey of the percussionist, played by GV, and how music transforms his life.

GV was last seen in Naachiyaar which is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bala and also starred Jyothika in the other lead role. Speaking about it, GV Prakash had said that he initially was not sure if he was really chosen for the film. “I got a call from Bala sir’s office and I expected it to be about composing music. He then told me that he wanted me to act in the film. I was hesitant initially as I had already signed multiple projects. So I asked him for two months’ time before we began the project. Bala sir also wrapped up the schedule in 40 days. My only fear was the commitment I had done and I also had to change my look for the film,” GV had told a leading daily recently.
