Actor Vikram’s daughter Akshita got married to her fiancé, Manu Ranjit, today in Chennai and the couple also took blessings from political leader and DMK supremo M.Karunanidhi. Accompanied by the actor himself, the couple were clicked together with the politician at his residence in Chennai this morning. Manu Ranjit is the great grandson of Karunanidhi and is engaged to Akshita for few months now. Here are few photos of the newly-wed couple with Vikram and Karunanidhi:

Vikram has a son, Dhruv, who will soon be making his debut in films with the remake of Telugu super hit ‘Arjun Reddy’. Dhruv will reprise the role played by Vijay Deverakonda and the remake will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bala. While many were happy that Bala will be directing the remake, few fans and movie-buffs seemed to be disappointed with this move, given the kind of films Bala has done in the past. However, fans are hoping that it will be a trademark Bala film and will have much to offer.

So, another Sanskrit Name in the family of the Chief Guardian of Tamil. That too, MANU, the name of the author or Manusmruti. Advise to have only Tamil names, only for others?
