Actor-choreographer Prabhudheva made a successful return to acting with Tamil horror-comedy Devi in 2016. Though the film received a mixed response, Prabhudheva’s comeback was the celebration for the audience. Well, looks like the actor is now on a signing spree. According to media reports, Prabhudheva might star in a film that will be directed by R Parthiban. Also, reportedly, actress Tamannaah Bhatia might play the female lead in the film.
Interestingly, this is going to be second-time Prabhudheva and Tamannaah Bhatia will be sharing the screen space after their first film together ‘Devi’, a bilingual that was directed by AL Vijay.
Prabhudheva, who was quite impressed with the script, immediately gave a nod for the film to be directed by R Parthiban. Well, official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
Meanwhile, actor-choreographer Prabhudheva returns back with by AL Vijay’s next upcoming dance-based Tamil drama Lakshmi. Touted to be a dance drama, the makers of the film have geared to complete the shoot.
Written by Vijay and Nirav Shah, the film is slated to release to later this year in 2018. Also starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Karunakaran and Salman Yusuf Khan, the film has been produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa. Reportedly, the might be released in Hindi and Telugu but no official confirmation regarding the same has been made.
Besides, the actor also has Charlie Chaplin 2 and Pon Maanickavel, which are under production with the shooting in progress. He also has a couple of Bollywood projects. He has been signed up to direct Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3.
Well, Prabhudheva is expected to begin with the shoot for R Parthiban soon. Let’s wait for the official confirmation regarding the same.
Meanwhile, choreographer-actor-filmmaker Prabhudheva has also started shooting for his next yet untitled film in which he will be seen in a khaki uniform for the first time. The film will have Prabhudheva playing a cop for the first time and is said to be a commercial entertainer.
