Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte in Kabali

During a recent chat show, actor Radhika Apte made a shocking revelation about how she once flipped out at a South star for tickling her feet. And, as expected these remarks created a buzz in the industry. Interestingly, during the same show, she praised another superstar. And that star is none other than Rajinikanth. While speaking about sharing screen space with ‘Thalaiva’ in Kabali, Radhika said that Rajini is a terrific person to work with and is a thorough gentleman.

“I did a Tamil film (Kabali), and with Rajinikanth sir, it( bad experiences) never happened to me. He was the nicest and the most wonderful human being. I am not saying that the whole industry is like that at all. There are just a few people like this, and these two particular Telugu films were such bad experiences.” She added.

These are some sweet words and are bound to create a buzz amongst Rajini’s fans.

At present, Radhika has Shoot the Piano Player in her kitty. As far as Rajini is concerned, he currently has Kaala and 2.0 in his kitty. Kaala is a crime-drama and has been directed by Pa Ranjith, The film features him in the role of a gangster and touches upon the rise of the oppressed. It also has Bollywood star Huma Qureshi and veteran actor Nana Patekar in the lead. As far as 2.0 is concerned, it is a sci-fi thriller and has been directed by ace filmmaker S Shankar. A sequel to the 2010 release Enthiran, it also has Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Brit beauty Amy Jackson in the lead. While talking about the film, Amy had said that working with Rajini was a good learning experience for her.

So, are you looking forward to Kaala and 2.0? Did you like Radhika’s remark on Rajinikanth? Comments, please!

thats what she should say if she needs more work in south!! Telugu industry is much much better when compared to Tamil industry in terms of casting couch. Telugu cinema yes requires more skin show but what happens is same or worse (remember suchileaks??) in all industries… nobody is a saint. these actresses just talk crap after they are done working in south and have few offers in bollywood.

She has worked with balakrishna in Telugu movies hence the bad experience….he is a crack pot , everyone in the industry knows that……she can’t generalize the whole industry based on her limited work experience in the south…

Ofcoz Superstar is Superstar for a reason. He’s the most wonderful and most humble person you’ll ever find.
Southern Industry is more culture. However, Tamil Cinema in some way doesn’t have this kind of nasty stuff. Whereas Telugu cinema requires more skin show from the female leads and there are plenty of gossips. But I guess the younger generation are far more disciplined.
