Rajinikanth is undoubtedly one of the most popular and respected stars in Tamil cinema today. During his storeyed career, he has won the hearts of countless people because of his simple personality and helpful nature. Moreover, he is regarded as a source of inspiration by many in the industry as he never hesitates to help newcomers. Now, he is in the limelight for a wonderful reason.
As it so happens, he recently had a brief conversation with ‘2.0’ director Shankar’s assistant Murali Manohar and gave him some advice. ‘Thalaiva’ apparently told him to work on his first film with great care and not rush things at all. Besides this, the superstar added that he had really loved his short film ‘Karna Motcham’.
Needless to say, Murali Manohar was thrilled by Rajini’s kind words and posted a sweet message on the social media.
“I didn’t know, whether to do my first film very soon or patiently work on the script and do it, as Superstar said. But, I was able to see a true affection in those words that came from him. It was so heartwarming to me. Thank you, Rajini sir. Loads and loads of thanks to my guru and well-wisher Shankar sir,” he added.
On a related note, ‘2.0’ is touted to be a thriller and is a sequel to the 2010 release ‘Enthiran’. Besides Rajinikanth, it features Amy Jackson in the lead wile Akshay Kumar will be seen in a negative role. If all goes as planned, it will hit screens in 2018.
