The teaser of the much anticipated movie 2.0 leaked online few days back. The unfinished VFX shots went viral in no time much to the disappointment of director Shankar and the film’s lead cast.

2.0 is considered one of the most expensive 3D movies in the history of Indian Cinema till date. With a budget of more than 400 crores the movie is also the first Asian movie to have spent such a big amount.

There have been many speculations about the film, the latest one being the theme of the film. If reports are to be believed the leaked teaser, posters of the lead stars and the tag line ‘2.0’- ‘the world is not only for humans’ suggest that the film deals with the subject of mobile phone radiation.

Essaying an antagonist, this film will mark Akshay Kumar’s debut in Tamil. His horrifying avatar of a ‘crow’ has already created a buzz among his fans. The birds who are most affected by the mobile radiation are on a mission to seek revenge from the human race and are led by Akshay Kumar. He will be taking control of the mobile phones and will use them to attack human beings.

The movie is a sequel to Enthiran which released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Rajinikanth will be seen reprising his Chitti Avatar from the 2010 movie.

The film’s release was deferred twice and fans are waiting with bated breath for the film to finally release. The makers have shifted the release date to April 27, 2018. The movie also stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Riyaz Khan and Adil Hussain. The official teaser of the movie will be released soon and will shed light on the plot of the film.

R. Rahman has composed the music for the film and the film stars Amy Jackson opposite Rajinikanth.
