According to a leading daily, popular actor Rana Daggubati is all set to work with his ‘Baahubali’ co-stars/veteran actors Nasser and Sathyaraj once again. The trio will be seen together in the highly ambitious Tamil period film ‘Madai Thirandhu’, which is being shot simultaneously in Telugu as ‘1945’. Confirming that the reunion is indeed happening, a source said that the team is currently shooting in Kochi.
“Currently, the shoot is taking place in Kochi and the schedule is expected to go on for a couple more weeks. The film will mark the reunion of the Baahubali trio — Rana Daggubati, Nasser and Sathyaraj,” added the source.
Well, this is some awesome news and is bound to create a buzz amongst fans. In case you did not know, Rana played the villain Bhallaldev in ‘Baahubali’ while Nassar and Sathyaraj played Bijjaldev and the iconic Katappa, respectively.
On a related note, ‘Madai Thirandhu’ also has Regina Cassandra in the lead and will feature Rana in a new avatar. Sometime ago, in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Rana had revealed that the film is based on the life of a soldier who fought in the INA.
“I’m shooting for a film set in 1945. It’s a story about a soldier who fought in the INA regiment of Subhas Chandra Bose. It’s set in a turmoil kind of situation after the Tamil moves to South East Asia and Telugu moved to Burma,” he had added.
