Remake of Queen is on; Tamannaah not part of it

The producer Thiagarajan has spoken on the rumors about the remake.

Reports were doing rounds that the remake of Bollywood hit Queen, with Tamannaah, has been shelved and the project has been cancelled. Reports also suggested that Tamannaah had made this news public at the audio launch of Baahubali Tamil audio launch. Post all this chaos, the producer of the movie Thiagarajan has lashed all the reports and cleared all the air.

The producer denied all the reports and said that the remake of the film is on and Tamannaah won’t be a part of the film. Speaking to leading portal, Thiagarajan said,” We had originally approached her but we felt her remuneration was very high. We even discussed with her father and since she was not ready to negotiate, we decided to move on. The project has not been dropped. We are currently on the lookout for a suitable replacement who can do justice to the film in four southern languages,”. Reports also suggest that Revathy and Suhasini also will not be a part of the project. The makers are looking for new director and writer for the film.

Kangana Ranaut in Queen

Thiagarajan has bought the rights of the remake in all the four South Indian languages and says the they will soon make an official announcement regarding the complete cast and crew of the film. Queen was a tremendously successful in the career of Kangana Ranaut and makers of the remake believe that whoever does the remake will receive similar prosperity.
