“When I listened to the song for the first time, I liked it so much that I wanted to try in my own voice. So, I took it up to Sibi(raj) and Simone K. King, the composer of the film. Then we had a jamming session at his studio, and eventually came up with the cover,” Remya Nambeesan was quoted in a report in DC. Remya has already sung close to 20 songs in Malayalam and this cover version of ‘Yaavana’ will be her first in Tamil.
“I have a plan of coming up with Remya Nambeesan Encore, a platform of sorts, through which I will be producing more original songs. This is mainly because I would want the music to be more independent and not only dependent on movies,” said Remya talking about her plans in singing and producing music.
