Rajinikanth’s 2.0, the sequel to his much-celebrated sci-fi film Robot, is one of the much-awaited films. The film also stars Bollywood actors and Amy Jackson. It is touted to be one of the biggest movies in the history of Indian cinema. The film has hit headlines ever since it was announced. 2.0 is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 400 crore.
Now according to fresh reports about the film, the makers of Rajinikanth starrer are leaving no stone unturned to bring the best VFX in the sci-fi thriller. Reportedly, the makers are now investing huge in the long-delayed film. In order to bring VFX of the international level, a budget of Rs 100 crore more has been added. Yes, you read that right! However, there has been no confirmation regarding the same yet.
Meanwhile, as earlier we revealed, the release of the film has been shifted to next year. Reportedly, due to pending post-production work, the release of the film has been has been pushed to next year. The makers are re-working certain portions of the film. 2.0 will reportedly clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Super on Republic Day in 2019.
Nation’s costliest 3D film starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, is directed by Shankar and music by AR Rahman. The high-tech post-production works are fully geared and the team is all set to lock the release date.
