Salony Luthra, who appeared in the 2014 release Sarambham directed by Arun Mohan, has now bagged her second film in Hollywood after ‘Forbidden’. The title of her second Hollywood project is said to be ‘Turned Out’. After getting noticed for her performance in films like Kajal and Sarambham, Salony Luthra will now be seen in her next Hollywood film ‘Turned out‘ that will span three continents – Asia, North America as well as South America.
Salony will be seen sharing screen with Hollywood actor George Katt and Anya Monzikova. The ‘Sarabham‘ fame actress will be seen playing Latino Spanish girl in the film. Sources say, “As Kajal was premiered at New York Festival the director Ritu Singh Pande was blown by her performance and was keen to work with her. They were impressed by her look and versatile personality. The director was very particular about her casting but after looking at Salony’s performance she was taken aback.”
This is Salony’s second Hollywood project, her first film ‘Forbidden‘ is a high-octane action sequence where she had to undergo tremendous training with the trainer who trained Brad Pitt and Al Pacino.
Salony Luthra is a popular face in the South Indian film industry. She won the best actress award for her Tamil film ‘Sarabham‘ and critic award for ‘Oliyum Oliyum‘. Salony’s feminist Hindi short film ‘Kajal’, directed by Pakhi Tyrewala, made her won the best actress award at Bangalore shorts film festival, 2017.
