Thenmerku Paruvakaatru director Seenu Ramasamy had announced a multi-starrer film with Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Vishal. The film was titled Idam Porul Eval and had completed the shooting all the episodes. The final print of the film after editing was also ready for the film but unfortunately did not hit the screens. The film was halted because of financial crisis faced by the producer Tirupathi Brothers, the production house of Linguswamy. The same production house had bankrolled Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain and faced heavy losses after the film tanked at the box office.
Talking to a news agency, Seenu Ramasamy said,” The release is stuck due to some financial issue. The producers faced heavy losses through Kamal Haasan’s ‘Uttama Villain’, and they are hopeful that Kamal sir will come forward and help them settle some of the incurred losses. The film has come out very well. Those who have watched it so far have only great things to say about the movie. If everything works out, we might bring out the film this year.”
Seenu Ramasamy intends to work on his other projects in the meanwhile. He has two films under his belt at the present moment. Speaking about it, Seenu said,” I’m ready with two scripts. I’m also ready with a project with Sasikumar, and it will be based on the lives of those who live in the interiors of Tamil Nadu.” Seenu Ramasamy also added that one of the two projects will have Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
