The dispute between the Tamil Film Producers’ Council and digital service providers over the Virtual Print Fee has finally sorted. The 48 days Tamil Cinema strike came to an end some few days ago and the industry is slowly getting back to their routine. The filmmakers have geared up for the shooting of their films. Recently, the makers of NGK, starring Suriya in the lead role, resumed shooting in Chennai. Maverick director Selvaraghavan, who has geared up to wrap up the shooting, recently took to Twitter and praised the lead stars of NGK. The actor is all awe of the lead actors.
He took to Twitter and praised all the three leads stars. The director was overwhelmed with their performances and wrote, “What can I say ? A Filmmaker’s delight. Working with three wonderful actors. The astounding @Suriya_offl ,the astonishing @Sai_Pallavi92 and the perfectionist @Rakulpreet ..Superb performances. Having a wonderful time. #NGK.”

Actor Rakul Preet, who is playing one of the female leads in the film, took to Twitter to announce that the makers have wrapped up the first schedule. She tweeted, “#NGK first sched wrap !! Mumbai calling onto next from tomorrow.. #worklife #lovemyjob #AjayDevgnromcom.”

Rakul has completed the first schedule in NGK and is currently in Mumbai for the shooting of her untitled rom-com with Ajay Devgn.
NGK marks the maiden venture of Suriya with maverick director Selvaraghavan. Selvaraghavan’s last released film was Irandaam Ulagam in 2013 that tanked at the box office. He is coming back after five years.
NGK is expected to release this year in Diwali. However, there has been no confirmation regarding the same. The music of the film has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While cinematographer Arvind Krishna is behind the lens, Prasanna GK will be editing the film.
