Earlier this year, the lovely Shraddha Srinath delivered a commendable performance in ‘Vikram Vedha’ and added a new dimension to her career. Now, she is gearing up for the release of her latest Tamil film ‘Richie’. And, needless to say, she is quite excited about being a part of the film. During its audio launch, she revealed that ‘Richie’ is a special film for her as it was the first Tamil film she auditioned for. She went on to add that even though she did not know Tamil then, she managed to bag ‘Richie’ because of her dedication/determination.

“Richie is so special to me. It’s because this was the first Tamil film that I had auditioned for. I did not know the language well. I was an absolute newcomer. But I had the determination to speak in Tamil, as it was a very good role and I didn’t want to let it go. Also, I found the entire team nice and warm. Now, after one and a half years, I’m here standing in front of you all when Richie is complete,” added Shraddha.

Praising the film’s director Gautham Ramachandran, she thanked him for casting a newcomer like her opposite a star like Nivin Pauly.

“I really thank Gautham Ramachandran sir for casting a newcomer like me opposite a big star like Nivin,” said the actress.

Well, we are happy for the lovely lady and hope that ‘Richie’ turns out to be hit upon release. So, are you looking forward to ‘Richie’? Let us know in the section below.
