Tamil star Simbu has been in the limelight these days for all a rather shocking. The producer of his latest film ‘Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan’ had recently held a press conference. And lashed out at the star for behaving unprofessionally during the shoot. He had even added that he suffered financial losses because of his bad attitude as the film bombed at the box office.

“Simbu is the reason for huge loss Anbanavan Adangadhavan Asaradhavan (AAA) suffered. His lack of professionalism led me to suffer a huge setback. Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) should issue red card against the actor for the welfare of the industry,” he had added.

Now, STR has responded to the controversy and made a rather bold statement. Speaking to a leading daily, the actor said that he is in no way answerable to any one for a film that has already been released. He added that the Nadigar Sangam should help him recover the money the producer owes him.

“I cannot be answerable to a film which is already released. Let the Nadigar Sangam get my money owed by Michael Rayappan which amounts to about `3.5 crores for which I have given a complaint  much before AAA’s release,” said STR.

He also said that he is not worried about getting a red card as he knows how to deal with the situation.

“In fact, I have given a complaint to Nadigar Sangam to get Rs 3.5 crores from producer Michael Rayappan which he owes me much ahead of Anbanavan… release. Let them put the Red Card — I know how to handle it,” added Simbu.

Well, this is developing situation and it will be worth watching what happens next.
