The young actor, who is a die-hard fan of Jyothika, will be playing a cameo in the film

The makers of the film took to Twitter to welcome STR onboard. The tweet reads, “So happy & thankful to #STR sir for his special & important appearance in #KaatrinMozhi …entire cast & crew had a superb time shooting with him. The scenes are going to be very interesting in the film.”

Tumhari Sulu remake Kaatrin Mozhi is being directed by Radha Mohan. Kaatrin Mozhi also stars Telugu actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu. She will be seen stepping into Neha Dhupia’s shoes from the original while Jyotika plays the role of Vidya Balan. Produced by Dhananjayan Govind’s BOFTA Media Works, Vidharth plays Jyothika’s husband and will reprise Manav Kaul’s role in the remake.

Jyothika made a huge comeback to the silver screen after a hiatus of eight years with 36 Vayadhinile and now, we just can’t wait to know what the actress has in stores for the audience with such amazing lineups of the remake.

On the other hand, Simbu will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV), which is one of the anticipated films of the year. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is a crucial film for STR as 2017 didn’t end on a good note for the actor. His highly ambitious AAA bombed at the box office and failed to impress critics.
