Mani Ratnam has geared up for his next film, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, a multi-starrer film, which will revolve around the issue of industrial pollution and its negative impact on the environment. Due to the Kollywood strike against Digital Service Providers, the makers of the film stopped the shooting of the film. Well, the team has commenced with the shooting in Chennai.
A day ago an amazing picture of Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu and Arun Vijay clicked by ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan on the sets of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’, went viral on the internet.
Now another super cute picture is doing rounds on the social media. The picture sees Simbu and Vijay Sethupathi bonding over the food on the sets. Their bromance on the sets is quite evident and this is only making us excited to see them bonding on-screen. Also, one can notice in the picture, there are injury marks on Simbu’a face, which means they are shooting for some action scene for the film.
Talking about the film, it also stars Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Rajesh. The technical team of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam includes editor Sreekar Prasad and composer AR Rahman. Well, Aditi Rao Hydari reuniting with filmmaker Mani Ratnam is one of the highlights of the film.
Confirming this development, Aditi said she couldn’t have hoped for a better start to 2018. “The positive reviews for Padmaavat were totally unexpected since I thought I didn’t have much to do. Now I am again doing a film with Mani Ratnam, just a year after Kaatru Veliyidai.”
Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is a crucial film for STR as 2017 didn’t end on a good note for the actor. His highly ambitious AAA bombed at the box office and failed to impress critics. Audiences have a lot of expectations from Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
