Actor Suriya Sivakumar has reached this stage of stardom because of the varied range of movies he has done in his career so far. From playing a romantic young man to a serious and angry cop, Suriya has done it all. One of his most successful films is Singam, which was made in three parts, and earned him a mass following too. Directed by Hari, Singam was one of the most highly successful commercial films in Suriya’s career. And after ending the Singam series with S3, Suriya and Hari are all set to reunite again for another film, which will not be related to Singam. Speaking to a leading Tamil daily, director Hari confirmed that he will be soon reuniting with Suriya and the two will be part of another mega film. Suriya had, in the past, said that he likes to team up with director Hari and do commercially viable films in order to do experimental films like 24 and 7 am Arivu. More details about this Suriya and Hari combination film are awaited for by the fans of the superstar. Reports reveal that the shooting of this film will begin after Hari wraps up the shooting of Saamy Square.
Suriya is currently shooting for his upcoming film, NGK, which is being directed by Selvarghavan. The film is said to have Suriya playing a rebelling leader and will be an intense story. Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi will be playing the leading ladies in NGK. The title of the film is derived from the name of Suriya’s character, Nandagopalan Kumaran, in the film.
Director Hari, on the other hand, is busy with Saamy Square, which is a sequel to his 2004 release Saamy starring Chiyaan Vikram. The shooting of the film is currently under way in Chennai and is gearing for a Diwali release, reports reveal. Saamy Square also stars Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady and will be the young actor’s first-time association with Vikram.
