Sivakarthikeyan is excited about his next release, Velaikkaran. The movie is written and directed by Mohan Raja and is all set to release on the 22 of this month.

The much awaited movie revolves around two youngsters Arivu and Azhagu and their battle against food adulteration. Talking about the movie, Siva mentioned that it made him more responsible.

He said, “After working in Velaikkaran, I feel more responsible. I’ve worked in a television commercial once. I promise now that I won’t endorse any brands henceforth in my career. There’s an emotional sequence in the story, which has led me to this decision. I’m not at liberty to talk about the scene now. But, it left an indelible mark on me.”

He also spoke of his colleagues. Talking about Nayanthara he said, “I worked with Nayanthara for the first time in Ethir Neechal, where she did a dance number. She worked without taking any remuneration because young talents were involved in the film. She has always been punctual and dedicated. Once she comes on the sets, she will not leave without completing the day’s shoot. It is with this approach she’s able to carve a niche for herself at the box office with women-centric films.”
