The sudden demise of superstar Sridevi has left the nation in a shocked state and many across Indian are mourning her demise. The actress’ mortal remains were brought back to Mumbai late last night from Dubai where she passed away in her hotel room. Sridevi was in Dubai to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah along with her family. The funeral is likely to take place today in Mumbai late in the noon and will be attended by the film fraternity across the nation. Actors, filmmakers and many celebrities from various film industries have been posting condolence messages for the superstar. But what has been heart touching is a tribute by a group of young students of a primary school in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu which is owned by the family of Sridevi. Paying a homage to Sridevi, students of the school gathered today before the commencement of classes and paid their final respects to the superstar by garlanding her photo. Students and the staff of the school maintained silence too mourn the death of Sridevi who is favourite to many people across India.

Many celebrities from Telugu and Tamil film industry traveled to Mumbai today to pay their final respects to Sridevi which includes Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Chiranjeevi. The top stars of Telugu and Tamil cinema have worked with Sridevi in many of their hit flicks which went on to define their and Sridevi’s careers. he world woke up on Sunday 25 February, 2018 to a heart wrenching news and is still mourning over it. The first female superstar of Indian cinema – Sridevi – passed away on Saturday night in Dubai due to a cardiac arrest. Everyone took time to believe this since there have been many celebrity death hoaxes like that lately. However, it was Sanjay Kapoor, Boney Kapoor’s brother who confirmed the news that Sridevi did suffer a cardiac arrest and she had passed away.
