Actor Suriya Sivakumar was last seen in Thaana Serndha Koottam which was an adaptation of Bollywood hit film Special 26 starring Akshay Kumar. Director by Vignesh ShiVn, Thaana Serndha Koottam tasted decent success and was one of the bigger hits of this season. Suriya, now, has a slew of films up his sleeve which includes an untitled film with director KV Anand. The film is slated to go on floors after Suriya wraps up his film with Selvaraghavan, NGK. Director KV Anand took to social media yesterday and posted an update about the film which gave details about the cast and crew of the film. The yet to be titled film will have Suriya in the lead role and music will be rendered by Harris Jayaraj. The film will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. “Core team for my next film with @Suriya_offl : Produced By @LycaProductions  @Jharrisjayaraj #PattukottaiPrabhakar – Dop #GavmicAry – Art @KiranDrk ” wrote Anand on his Twitter handle.

Suriya is currently shooting for NGK, his upcoming film with Selvaraghavan, which will have him play a character which he hasn’t tried before in his career. Speaking about NGK, director Selvaraghavan had recently said, “With Suriya sir, just like I am a fan of Kamal sir and Rajini sir, the little fanboy in me would create moments that his fans would enjoy. This does not mean my style would go but it just meansthat, there would be some space for the fanboy to extract the kind of Suriya that this fanboy likes to see on screen.”

I am used to making raw and intense films and do not like any sort of compromise. In fact, none of my actors generally have a problem portraying the characters I sketch for them,” he further added. Also, during a recent Twitter chat, director Selvaraghavan opened up about NGK and said that it is his dream project. He went on to add that this is the first time since Pudhupettai that he has enjoyed scripting a story to the fullest. Well, this is quite a statement and is bound to add to the buzz surrounding NGK.
