The teaser of Rajinikanth’s 2.0 leaked online

In an unfortunate development, the teaser of Rajinikanth’s eagerly-awaited 2.0 has been leaked online and this has sent its makers into a state of panic. The teaser was apparently screened somewhere and somebody recorded it on the phone before uploading it. This teaser is apparently not a final one but a draft version. Commenting on the leak, director Shankar’s assistant, urged fans to refrain from sharing the leaked teaser and said that the makers may suffer losses if they do such a thing.

“Friends please do not share this leaked trailer of 2.0. It is our Director’s long term dream forte. We won’t know how much hard work went into it and is going into it. If u make this unfinished cut viral, then you cannot enjoy the proper finished cut and it will definitely sadden him and all the technicians of the team. Thank you. The reason I’m posting this is because I’ve also worked very hard like a squirrel on this. #Donotshare #RequestToMemepages #fbpages
Ps: Real #Rajini fans and #DirectorShankar fans will not share it. They will wait for the light of the day,” he wrote on FB.

In case you did not know, 2.0 is a sci-fi thriller and has been directed by Shankar. A sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran, it will see Rajini reprise his Chitti character from part 1. The film also features Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead. Akki is playing a negative role in what is the first Tamil film of his career. His ‘crow’ avatar has already created a buzz amongst fans and could be one of the biggest talking points of 2.0. The film was originally supposed to hit screens in April but got postponed due to extensive post-production work.
