Actors, as we all know, have certain deadlines and expectations to meet. Their career and fate in the film industry change every Friday. Especially, actors have a lot of pressure to hit the gym from time to time and transform their bodies according to their character requirements in the films. They are going to no extent to get into the skin of their characters and one such actor is Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram. The work he puts into the characters he plays is quite impressive. In fact, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, himself, on the national television had confessed that he is in shock every time on how Vikram manages to look different every time he meets him. It is a known fact that the Tamil star keeps changing his physique every now and then for his films.
While shooting Anniyan, Vikram had met Salman and he gave valuable acting advice to National award-winning actor. During an interview with Caravan magazine back in the year 2015, Vikram revealed on getting some acting advice from Salman. Chiyaan said, “He (Salman) asked me how many films I was doing. I said one. He asked for how long. I said one-and-a-half years. He said, ‘Are you crazy? You know how many films I am doing? 23.’ He asked me why I was doing just this one film. I said because I have to maintain a look. And he said, ‘Yo, on screen just make sure you look good. That’s it.”
Vikram had promoted his film “I” on reality TV show Bigg Boss season 8. While the Kollywood star preferred to speak in English, he made Salman speak in Tamil. The two share quite a good bond. To remind, Salman had played the protagonist in Sethu remake, Tere Naam.
On the work front, Vikram will be seen in his upcoming film Saamy Square. Saamy Square will star Bobby Simha as the antagonist while actors like John Vijay, Prabhu and Soori will be seen in supporting roles. The sequel is being made after 14 years of the release of the original Saamy which was a super hit film in the career of Vikram and is one of the milestones in Vikram’s career.
Vikram will return as the foul-mouthed, twirled moustache sporting police officer in Saamy Square, a role which made him one of biggest stars in the South Indian industry.
