Actress Trisha Krishnan a while ago had posted a message on social media that she has opted out of ‘Saamy Square’ which is a sequel to the 2004 release ‘Saamy’ starring Vikram. Directed by Hari, ‘Saamy Square’ also stars Keerthy Suresh and had Trisha had playing her original role. Trisha mentioned that she has opted out of the project due to creative differences with the makers and would not be able to continue. However, latest reports indicate that Trisha might be back on-board ‘Saamy Square’. It is being said that director Hari has confirmed that Trisha is very much part of the cast of ‘Saamy Square’ and will be playing an important role. A leading tabloid reported that Hari had said in an interview that Trisha is back in the film and everything has been sorted out. However, Trisha’s mother Uma, who manages her work assignments, has said that they haven’t been contacted by anyone from the production house of Saamy Square and she isn’t back yet, reports reveal. With two different versions doing rounds all around, there is a huge confusion around Trisha’s role in ‘Saamy Square’. An official confirmation regarding this waited for from either of the parties involved.
Trisha posted a message on her Twitter page which read – “Due to creative differences,I have chosen to opt out of Saamy 2 . Wishing the team goodluck.” Fans of the actress and movie-buffs seem to have taken aback with this decision of Trisha. It was being said that Trisha’s role would not be just an extended cameo but would be a lengthier role in Saamy 2. The shooting of the film had just begun with Keerthy Suresh and lead actor Vikram shooting for a small action episode in Chennai. Saamy 2 wil be produced by Thameens Films and actor Bobby Simha will be playing the antagonist in Saamy 2, which is one of the biggest moves in his career.
