Vijay Sethupathi will be donning another cap for the horror film Pei Pasi; not as an actor but as a singer. He will be singing a song for the film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie introduces Yuvan’s cousin Harikrishnan Bhaskar as the lead. He confirmed the news via twitter “Vijay Sethupathi singing for the first time, a cool track for the movie # Pei Pasi Introducing my cousin Harikrishnan Bhaskar as the main lead. Watch out guys!”
The film is directed by Shrinivas Kavinayan and also stars Namitha and Amrutha Iyer in important roles. The song was recorded recently. Pei Pasi is a horror film which has been completely shot in a department store.
Vijay has earlier voiced a few lines in the film Hello Naan Pei Pesuren. But this song with Yuvan will be his full-fledged song. He is one of the busiest actor in Tamil film industry and has a good number of movies in his kitty right now. He is part of ace director Mani Ratnam’s multi starrer flick Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in which he will be sharing screen space with Jyothika, Aravind Swamy, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Rajesh.
He is also part of Thuya Graham Kumararaja’s action crime film Super Deluxe opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. 96 with Trisha, drama film Seethakathi are his other projects from Tollywood. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will be his debut movie in Telugu along with Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara.
There is a buzz doing round that the Nanum Rowdy Dhaan actor has been approached to play the antagonist for the forthcoming film of Karthik Subbaraj which stars Superstar Rajinikanth. Karthik and Vijay have already worked together in films like Pizza and Iraivi. Fans are eager to see them together locking horns with each other.
