Vikram starrer ‘Saamy Square’—which is a sequel to the much-loved ‘Saamy’—recently went on the floors after a formal pooja ceremony. And, during a one-day-long shoot in Yercard, the makers filmed a high-octane action sequence which involved the leading man himself. Confirming the same, a source said that several cameras/helicams were used during the shoot.
“It was just a one-day shoot, but it involved a high-octane action sequence. Vikram will be seen performing some daring stunts from a chopper. Vikram prepared a lot for the helicopter scene and has given it his best. The scene was shot with several cameras and helicams,” added the source.
The source went on to add that the makers do not want ‘Sammy Square’ to come across as a run of the mill action-entertainer. And, as such, they are working hard to ensure that each sequence turns out to be a grand affair. Moreover, the makers plan to shoot Vikram and Bobby Simhaa entry sequences in a grand manner.
“The movie will definitely carry the essence of the first film, but this one is an entirely different story and has a very interesting script. In fact, all the actors immediately agreed to do the film after reading the script. There are a lot of action movies coming out these days, so the team and the stunt master, Kanal Kannan have specifically worked hard to make each stunt sequence a grand affair,” added the source.
Well, we hope that these efforts pay off and ‘Saamy Square’ turns to be a big winner at the box office.
