Thupparivaalan Box Office Collections: A steady opening for this Vishal starrer detective thriller

During a recent interaction with the media, actor Vishal opened up about his soon to be released film ‘Thupparivalan’ and said that it is quite different from his previous outings. He went on to add that there are no songs in the film and it is on the lines of Sherlock Holmes.

“Unlike my other characters in previous films, Kaniyan Poongundran would be a sensible and silent character, who wouldn’t speak much through dialogues. Thupparivalan would be a film on the lines of Sherlock Holmes. Also, for the first time in my career, there are no songs in my film, and I feel our audience is also getting mature and accepting to watch films without songs. Had I kept a song in the second half of this film, the audience would have got angry and blasted at me. There is just one theme song, which would come, during the flow of the movie,” he added.

Besides this, he stressed that working with Mysskin was a terrific experience as he helped him change his body language and grow as a performer.

“Mysskin had always wanted to change my body language, and he has done that through this film,” added Vishal.

Well, we hope that ‘Thupparivalan’ does well at the ticket window and helps Vishal add a new dimension to his career.

In case you did not know, ‘Thupparivalan’ is touted to be a fantasy-thriller and will hit screens next week. Besides Vishal, it also has Bhagyaraj and Anu Emmanuel in the lead.
