According to a leading daily, actor Vishal’s recently-released blockbuster ‘Thupparivaalan’ will soon be released in Telugu under the title ‘Detective’. Confirming this, GS Hari—who has previously released ‘Kaththi Sandai’ and ‘Marudhu’ in Telugu—said that the dubbing work is underway and it will screens in October.
“Thupparivaalan has collected `30 crore in its first week and has been declared the biggest hit of Vishal’s career. The dubbing formalities are underway, and we are planning to release Detective in October,” he added.
Well, this is some exciting news and is bound to create a buzz amongst Vishal’s Telugu-speaking fans. Right folks?
On a related note, ‘Thupparivaalan’ is a detective-thriller and has been directed by Mysskin. Featuring Vishal in the role of a clever investigator, it received rave reviews upon release thanks to its stylish presentation and solid performances. Besides the popular star, it also features Andrea Jeremiah in the lead.
Interestingly, a few days ago, Vishal had said that the full credit for Thupparivaalan’s success goes to none other Mysskkin.
“When we started the project, many hesitated to produce the movie. It was because I am slightly psychotic — and so is Mysskin. They were wondering if the final product would turn out properly. Nevertheless, I am happy to the huge response for the film, which I made under my home banner VFF. As far as Thupparivaalan’s success is concerned, all credit goes to Mysskin,” he had added.
