Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi will soon be making his Kollywood debut with the eagerly-awaited ‘Vivegam’. And, as expected, he is quite excited about the same. During a recent chat with a leading daily, he opened up about working with Ajith Kumar in ‘Vivegam ‘and stressed that he considers ‘Thala’ to be his brother.
“I was so touched by the genuine affection that I became emotional after the shoot was wrapped up. Finally, the humility of a big star like Ajith anna — the way he behaved and his warm nature made me feel like he was my elder brother. When I say Ajith anna, I really mean it,” he added.
He went on to add that he plans to do more Tamil films in the future and add a new dimension to his career.
“I have been following quite a number of films for a long time. Working with Rajini sir and Kamal sir has always been my dream. I’m glad that I could work with Mani sir,” said Vivek.
Well, we hope that the Vivek makes an impressive debut with Vivegam and gives fans a reason to rejoice.
On a related note, ‘Vivegam’ is touted to be a spy-thriller and has been directed by Siva. Slated to hit screens on August 24, Besides Ajith-Vivek, it features Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in the lead. This will be the first Tamil film of Akshara’ career. As she is the daughter of the legendary Kamal Haasan, fans are bound to have high expectations from her. We hope that she makes an impressive debut and wins hearts along the way. All the best!
