Last year, Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi made his Kollywood debut with Vivegam and added a new dimension to his career. In the spy-thriller, he was seen alongside Tamil star Ajith Kumar and delivered a gripping performance. Talking about working with ‘Thala’, he had said that it was a good and memorable experience for him.

“I was so touched by the genuine affection that I became emotional after the shoot was wrapped up. Finally, the humility of a big star like Ajith anna — the way he behaved and his warm nature made me feel like he was my elder brother. When I say Ajith anna, I really mean it,” he had told a leading daily.

With 2017 in the past, Vivek Is currently shooting for a film with ‘Mega Power Star’ Ram Charan.  During a recent chat with TOI, the actor said that he plans to do at least one Telugu film every alternate year as language is not a barrier for him

“I love acting in Tamil cinema. I have decided quite consciously to do at least one good film every year in Tamil. I also would love to do films in Telugu, at least one every alternate year. Interestingly, this year I am doing a biggie with Ram Charan Teja in Telugu, which is being directed Boyapati Srinu. We have just started shooting and it is expected to be ready by Deepavali,” he added.

Vivek also spoke about his bond with Chennai and said that he has several fond memories of playing at the Marina beach.

“My mother is from Chennai and I have a lot of relatives here. My akka, thangachi, chinnamma’s daughter and maama live here. I have so many memories with my maama and periamma here — the incredible memories of playing on the Marina beach, visiting parks, and so on,” added Vivek.

So, are you looking forward to Vivek’s film with Ram Charan? Comments, please!
