Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 is all set to release on November 29, 2018. After being delayed for several months, the film is finally releasing at the box office next week. The trailer of the film was well received by the audience, and it only raised curiosity to know what’s more in stores. In fact, the film is already breaking records ahead of its release. Earlier we had reported that 2.0 has already earned Rs 120 crore just in advance booking. The big budget film has had a record-breaking advance booking already and this only hints that 2.0 is going to set the box office on fire. The film has now broken another record.
The much anticipated science fiction film has broken the record of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 as well. If a report on Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, 2.0 will be released 6,600 to 6,800 screens across India. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus had released in approximately on 6,500 screens. Well, 2.0 is breaking records even before its release and now it remains to see what more magic the film will create in the coming days.
In the film, Rajinikanth plays a scientist and a robot. 2.0 is a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (Robot) which also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Lyca Productions produced 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead. The film marks Akshay Kumar’s Tamil debut. Amy Jackson is the female lead in this Shankar-directorial movie. 2.0 is all set to release on November 29.
