The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has served a ban on Rajinikanth starrer Kaala and has halted the release of the film in the state of Karnataka. The Chamber says that Rajinikanth’s stand in the Cauvery Issue and his statements about the recent Water Management Board is against the state of Karnataka and will now allow the release of Kaala. However, many Tamil film celebs including actor-TFPC President have strongly spoken against this move by the Karnataka Chamber of Film Commerce. Vishal recently tweeted about this and said he hopes it will be resolved by the South Indian Film Chamber.
And recent reports now reveal that Vishal may try from his end to get Kaala released in Karnataka and may speak with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce officials to come to an amicable situation. Although there is no official confirmation about this, emerging reports do reveal that Vishal is planning to initiate talks for Kaala.

Kaala has a stellar star cast with few big names from Bollywood including Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Pankaj Tripathi. Eswari Devi will be seen playing the role of Rajinikanth’s wife in Kaala while actor and filmmaker Samuthirakani will be seen playing an important role. Marathi and Bollywood actor Anjali Patil too would be seen playing a pivotal role in Kaala. Kaala is being produced by Dhanush under his home banner Wunderbar Films.
Rajinikanth starrer Kaala is gearing up for release on June 7th, 2018 worldwide in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kaala is said to be an action entertainer and will have Rajinikanth playing a slum lord turned gangster in the plot.
Rajinikanth, however, hopes that the issue would be resolved amicably and the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce would intervene into the matter. Rajinikanth’s colleagues and admirers have been supporting the superstar in this cause and stating both the issues are different and shouldn’t be interlinked.
