Nani, fondly called as Natural Star, has been having a great run in the last three years with most of his films turning out to be super hit films barring one or two. Nani is now the only star in Telugu cinema who has had back to back six hit films in the recent times. The actor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘MCA’, captioned ‘Middle Class Abbayi’, which is directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju. As the title and the caption suggest, the story of the film revolves around a young man’s life who hails from a middle-class family. Nani has this uncanny knack of picking subjects which connect with the Telugu audiences and leave a long lasting impact.
Nani, surely, is a very talented actor and many a times his fans and colleagues from the industry have suggested him to try his hands in films in other languages too. But Nani says he will stick to Telugu only and will not do any other language films. Even though he tried his hands in Tamil with couple of films – Aaha Kalyanam and Veppam – which were not great successes. “Take me to any other film industry and they will be wondering why Telugu audiences love me so much,” said Nani in a recent interview.
Nani is also producing a film titled ‘AWE” which has a stellar cast that includes Nithya Menen, Kajal Agarwal, Srinivas Avasarala, Nani himself, Murli Sharma, Regina Cassandra, Priyadarshi and Ravi Teja in a special appearance.
