Director Bala’s upcoming film ‘Naachiyaar’ will feature two actors who probably wouldn’t have thought of acting alongside each other a few years ago. GV Prakash and Jyothika are teaming up for the first time for Bala’s next titled ‘Naachiyaar’, and will have a signature Bala look to it. The makers recently released the teaser of ‘Naachiyaar’ which was quite impressive and gave us an indication of what kinds of roles Jyothika and Prakash would be playing. Jyothika will be seen playing a ruthless cop while GV Prakash would be seen playing a slum dweller in ‘Naachiyaar’. The film is slated to be released on February 16th, 2018 worldwide and audiences are quite kicked about this film going by the hype on social media.
Speaking about the film and her co-star in ‘Naachiyaar’, Jyothika, in a recent interview, said that GV Prakash is a mature actor and it will be visible in the film. “He’s a very straightforward person. He’s a very honest actor and has delivered a very mature performance in ‘Naachiyaar’. It’ll surely be his next level, in acting. You’ll witness how mature an actor GV is through this film,” said Jyothika in a recent interview. Receiving such comments from an actor of that stature, this surely is going to be special for GV Prakash. Besides Jyothika and GV Prakash, ‘Naachiyaar’ also popular stars producer Rockline Venkatesh in an important role. The music of the film is composed by Ilayaraaja and the album is expected to be released soon.
GV Prakash says that director Bala is a master of creating characters and it is not an easy job to act in his film. “With Bala sir, there’s toughness in each scene you perform. You can’t go just act and come out. He puts in a lot of effort to elevate a particular sequence. He is a master of creating characters that are close to reality, and the impact is such that the characters would stay with the audiences. She is a very positive person. A wonderful and the best co-star! She has no airs around her, and if you perform well, she would come and appreciate your work instantly,” Prakash had recently said in an interview.
