Akshay Kumar will be sharing the screen space with megastar Rajinikanth in 2.0. It is a sequel to Rajini's 2010 blockbuster Enthiran aka Robot. Akshay Kumar for a change will be seen as a villain in the film. This time it stars Amy Jackson as the leading lady. Earlier, it was reported that the teaser of 2.0 will be out on Independence Day and the fans eagerly waited for the same. But due to the sudden natural calamity that struck Kerala that saw the state submerged with floods, the makers didn't share the teasers on August 15. But the director S Shankar revealed the reason for further delay.\r\n\r\nWhile talking to Vanakamindia, 2.0 director S Shankar said, "Rajinikanth asked me not to publish the teaser at this time when the Kerala people are in a dilemma. So, the Teaser launch ceremony was postponed." He, however, shared that the teaser will be out on September 13, 2018, which is the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi. He added, "Also, 2.O teaser will be released on September 13th, Vinayagar Chaturthi," Shankar said. Well, that's definitely an exciting news for all the fans.\r\n\r\n2.0 will mark Akshay Kumar's debut in the South film industry. His villainous avatar as Dr Richard has already left everyone astounded.\r\n\r\nMeanwhile, the actor is currently enjoying the success of Reema Kagti's Gold.
