Dhruv Vikram wraps up the first schedule of Varma in Nepal

Dhruv Vikram has wrapped up the first schedule of his debut film Varma, which kick started in Nepal last week. He posted a picture on his Instagram page captioning it ‘Home Bound’. He is headed back to Chennai after shooting some important sequences of the film.  This movie will mark Dhruv’s debut in Tamil film Industry.

Varma is the remake of the Telugu path breaking flick Arjun Reddy which was a blockbuster of 2017. The film is directed by Bala who is known for films like Sethu, Pithamagan, Pardesi and Nachiyar.

During a media interaction Vikram had said, “When I saw Arjun Reddy, I was completely astonished  and felt it would be great time and role to launch Dhruv and I couldn’t think of anyone else but Bala sir to direct. And he happily accepted it when I requested him”. The makers have not yet found a female lead to pair opposite Dhruv.

Vikram had announced son Dhruv’s debut film on his Twitter account, “YOU’RE GODDAMN RIGHT. #varmathemovie #dirbala #dhruvvikram #E4entertainment.” The superstar often takes to social media to keep the fans informed about the film.

After the announcement of the movie, Dhruv’s picture with him in a beard went viral on social media. He looked dashing in the photo and fans have been curious to find out more about the film.

Dhruv will be seen essaying the reprise version of Vijay Deverakonda. Varma will have dialogues penned by the National award winning director Raju Muruga. Arjun Reddy, directed by debutant Sandeep Reddy was a present day take on Devdas,  bringing in love, lust and suffering in its finest form.
