Tamannaah Bhatia- Udhaynidhi Stalin starrer Kanne Kalaimaane has wrapped up its last schedule in Kodaikanal.

Tamannaah shared this on her social media account. She took to social media to thank her co-star Udhaynidhi Stalin and the ace director Seenu Ramasamy. She wrote on her Instagram, “Happy that we worked together at last, always wanted to @UdhayStlain. It felt at home shooting with you sir @seenuramasamy thank you so much”.

She had earlier posted on her social media account, “Time has just flown! We are almost on the verge of completing shoot, working with Seenu Sir again has been so comforting as there was always an unspoken understanding.”

This is the first time that she will be sharing screen space with Udhayanidhi Stalin. Tamannah had earlier worked with the national award winning director Seenu in Dharma Durai opposite Vijay Sethupathi. The movie will be produced by his home production banner Red Giant Movies. As per reports, the movie is a romantic comedy.

Tamannaah has been updating fans about the movie from the first day of the shoot. Earlier she wrote on her Instagram account to praise Udhay and the camera work of the film, “Got an opportunity to explore a completely new character. @Udhay Stalin is a very sensitive actor and I’m sure everyone is going to love him in this film; it’s been nothing short of a breeze working on this project. Jalendhar sir is full of energy and given us some beautiful visuals.” Tamannaah will be essaying the role of a bank employee in the movie.

Speaking to a leading newspaper the director said, “It is a romance-based film that talks about humanism. The story is set in Chozhavanthan near Madurai. Several upcoming artistes will be part of the supporting cast”.

The movie Kanne Kalaimaane is a tribute to his mentor, the late director Balu Mahendra and the title is inspired by the Kamal Hassan-Sridevi movie Moondram Pirai’s  Kanne Kalaimaane song.
