Young Bollywood star Kiara Advani—who is best known for her role in the much-loved MS Dhoni: The Untold Story—will soon be making her Tollywood debut with the eagerly-awaited Bharat Ane Nenu. And, needless to say, she is quite excited about beginning a new chapter in her professional life.
Speaking exclusively to Pinkvilla (South), Kiara said that she decided to enter Tollywood as she found Bharat Ane Nenu to be an irresistible offer.
“The offer was just priceless. The film has a wonderful script, a superb director and a superstar actor. I have seen Mahesh Babu’s work and I admire him. It was the content that drew me to the film. Language is not a barrier for me and I have received some calls from the South . So, when the offer came, I said why not?” said the lady.
Talking about working with superstar Mahesh Babu, Kiara said that that is an easy person to work with courtesy his humble nature. She went on to add that she really liked his dedication to his craft and found him to be a focused person.
“ He is a highly focused person and that is something I like about him. His dedication to his work is praiseworthy. He comes to the set without any baggage of being a star and makes everyone feel comfortable. He is grounded and that makes it very easy to work with him. When I was working with him, things just seemed so organic and I never felt any nervousness.” said Kiara.
Speaking about her experience of shooting in Hyderabad, she said that she did pick up a bit of Telugu and can understand a little bit of the language.
“I did my lines well and got the accent right. I can understand a little bit but I will need a few more films to pick up the language better,” she added.
Interestingly, Kiara will also be seen opposite ‘Mega Power Star’ Ram Charan in director Boyapati Srinu’s next. Answering a question about it, she said that she is keen to work with Charan as she has heard a lot about him.
“Shooting will begin this month and I am looking forward to working with him as I have heard a lot of good things about him,” she added.
Well, we wish her good luck for Bharat Ane Nenu and hope that the Telugu audience welcomes her with open arms.
