Nagarjuna’s film with RGV to go on the floors this month

Veteran actor Nagarjuna is going through a terrific phase in life these days. His son/ noted actor Naga Chaitanya tied the knot with Samantha Ruth Prabhu a few weeks and give the prestigious Akkineni family a big reason to rejoice. Similarly, on the professional side of things, he recently tasted success when ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ became a hit at the box office while receiving fairly positive reviews.

Now, there is some more good news for Nag’s fans. In an exciting development,  his eagerly-awaited film with maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is set to go on the floors on November 20 at the same location in Andhra Pradesh where their iconic ‘Siva’ was filmed more than 20 years ago.  To make matters more interesting, the film is likely to hit screens in April 2018.

Interestingly, ‘Siva’ is still regarded as an all-time classic. As such, fans are bound to have high expectations from the new film.

Interestingly, sometime ago, RGV had revealed that the film will be quite different from anything he has ever done in the past.

“I am extremely excited that I am doing a film with Nagarjuna after nearly 25 years but contrary to some uninformed media speculations, this new film is nothing to do with ‘Shiva’, neither in character nor in story content. It’s a very different but an extremely realistic action film set against a story such as neither me nor Nagarjuna has ever done before,” he had written on FB.

So, are you looking forward to the film? Tell us in the space below.
