Post the success of his last film Goodachari, actor-writer Adivi Sesh is all set to commence work on the Telugu remake of Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer 2 States. The film that is based on Chetan Bhagat’s English bestseller of the same name is being remade in Telugu and the makers of the film have already begun with the shoot. Debutant Venkat Reddy will direct the project and 2 States remake will also mark the acting debut of Shivani, daughter of popular Telugu actors Rajasekhar and Jeevitha.
Produced by MLV Sathyanarayana (Sattibabu) on Lakshya Productions, the upcoming rom-com’s first look will be unveiled on this Vijayadasami. Talking about the film’s shoot, director Venkat Reddy says, “From Oct 22, a marriage song will be choreographed by Jani Master on a huge set in Hyderabad. Later, a few crucial scenes will be shot in foreign locations. The entire talkie will be done with this. This is an engaging love and family entertainer.”
The makers of the film are currently gearing up for the last schedule of the shoot after wrapping up four schedules two each in Kolkata and Hyderabad. The film will see Adivi Sesh as a Telugu boy falling in love for a girl from North India. The Hindi version of the film received mixed response at the Box Office and it remains to see 2 States Telugu remake can do wonders in The South Indian Cinema.
