Comedian turned lead actor Sunil is currently going through a rough patch in his acting career and is badly in need of a hit. A while ago, it was reported that Sunil has been roped in to play an important role in Trivikram Srinivas and Jr NTR’s film for a crucial role. And according to latest reports, Sunil has signed another film in which he would be seen playing a supportive role again. Sunil has been signed on to play a pivotal role in Sharwanand’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu which is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Said to be a breezy romantic story, Padi Padi Leche Manasu also stars Sai Pallavi in the lead role. The shooting of the film is currently under progress and is gearing up for release in August most likely.
Sunil will also be seen in an important role in Jr NTR’s film with Trivikram Srinivas which is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Being referred to as NTR 28, the yet to be titled film will have Sunil returning to his forte – comedy – and will be seen in a full length comical role. It is being reported that Sunil is now preferring to pay supportive comical roles with meaty run time rather than full length lead roles.
It is also being reported that Sunil will be acting alongside Ravi Teja again in his upcoming film with Srinu Vytla which is titled Amar Akbar Anthony. Although there is no clarity on the kind of role Sunil would be playing, speculations are that Sunil will be sharing major screen space with Ravi Teja much to the joy of fans of Telugu cinema. Telugu movie-buffs have been finding it hard to watch Sunil in lead roles and many a times have expressed on social media that he should get back to doing comical roles, which suit him much better.
