It was reported a day ago that Stylish Star Allu Arjun will undergo a makeover for his upcoming flick Naa Peru Surya, in which he would be seen playing an army man. It was also said that the Duvvada Jagannadham actor will fly to the US and undergo a rigorous training to get into the shape of an armed officer to look his role in the film. Now, according to latest reports, there have been change in plans for the actor.
Allu Arjun will not travel to the US to train there but instead will have a trainer flown in from America, and will work on his transformation at home. Allu Arjun will undergo a month-long training in Hyderabad and prepare for his role of an armed officer in Naa Peru Surya, which will be directed by Vakkantham Vamsi.
Allu Arjun will only work towards getting a perfect toned body of an armed officer but will not work on getting a six-pack abs. “He is not working towards six-pack abs. The director wants him to look as fit as possible to able to do justice to the role,” a source close to the actor said.
The film will mark the debut of Vakkantham Vamsi as a director in Tollywood who has earlier written stories for hit films like Kick and Temper. Naa Peru Surya will have young actress Anu Emannuel playing the female lead role. The film will have Bollywood musicians Vishal-Shekar composing the songs for the film and the cinematography will be handled by Rajeev Ravi.
